Utah Core 4th Grade English Literature Arts Standard 3- Describe in depth a character, setting, or event in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text (e.g., a character’s thoughts, words, or actions).
This is a quiz over the book Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. This helps the teacher gain an understanding of how well the students grasp the theme of the book and if they enjoyed reading it. After reviewing any questions, I would have the students go on the computer individually to take this quiz. This could also be used a homework quiz the students can complete at home.

Utah Core 4th Grade English Language Arts Standard 1 A- Choose words and phrases to convey ideas precisely.
This will help enforce the idea of using figurative language like alliteration, simile, metaphor, hyperbole, etc.. Students need to be encouraged to use figurative language in order to improve there writing skills. I would use this resource as class power point presentation or an individual review source for homework.

4th grade Library Media Standard 1-Students define an information problem and identify information needed to solve the problem
This Google form allows students to create a unique story and practice their typing skills using a set format. Students will be able to walk away feeling confidence in their typing abilities. This resource would be best used as practice in an individual or partner computer setting. This could also be given as homework. The students could access this at home and write their story.

4th Grade Library Media Standard 4- Students engage and extract information.
This is a preview of different books that the students choose for literature groups. I hope this will allow the students to get interested in the book before they read it. I would either allow the students to have access to this resource individually or review the videos in class on the power point screen.
